Is there any reason parents in the area shoud be concerned about the safety of their children? Are charges being laid or is there an ongoing investigation?

The police would have indicated if they felt parent need to increase their vigilance. Often when teenagers go missing, they’ve decided to stay at a friends house and forget to tell their parents. Or they do it purposely, which just causes a great deal of problems for the parents, the police, and the teenager.
