On Thursday, January 21, 2016 at approximately 12:40pm, a lone male entered the Bank of Montreal located at 240 North Service Road West in Oakville. This branch is located in at Dorval Crossing East at North Service Road West and Dorval Drive.

The culprit proceeded to jump over the front counter demanding money from the bank employees indicating he was not joking and would shoot them if they called police. There was no weapon observed during the incident.

The bank employees complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect who fled north out of the store towards North Service Rd and out of sight.

No vehicle was observed by employees or witnesses and there were no injuries.

The suspect is described as:

  1. male/Caucasian,
  2. 20-30 years of age,
  3. 5”11-6”0 in height,
  4. approximately 150-170 pounds,
  5. slim build.

The suspect was wearing a black jacket with a black hooded sweatshirt underneath with the hood up, dark coloured pants, dark coloured running shoes, red gloves and a black balaclava covering the lower portion of his face.
