Armed Robbery of Bronte Centre Pharmacy: Police Request Assistance

The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating an armed robbery which took place at approximately 9:50 am on May 25, 2013 at the Bronte Centre Pharmacy located at 78 Jones Street, Oakville.

A lone white male entered the pharmacy and approached the counter demanding narcotics. The male produced a silver handgun and pointed it in the direction of the pharmacists. Once the drugs were handed back to the male he walked out of the pharmacy and fled on foot. The suspect received several pill containers filled with various pain killers.

The suspect is described as male, white, approximately 40 years of age, approximately 5’9″, medium build, dark coloured scruffy facial hair with some grey in it. The suspect was wearing dark coloured pants, older worn out white running shoes, a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark coloured clothing pulled up around the lower part of his face, and a baseball hat.
