Apart from writing about the Oakville Blades for their website, Steven also runs one of the world's largest English websites, TheHockeyHouse.net, a site belonging to the Fox Sports Blog Network, Yardbarker. While he is a big Montreal Canadiens fan, it will be tough for someone to convince him to watch something else when any international hockey game is getting played, even if that means watching teams like Mongolia and Singapore. The Oakville Blades are pleased to announce that Brandon Lukezic has re-joined the team for the remainder of the season.

A native of Mississauga, Ont., Lukezic was a member of the Blades during the 2013-2014 OJHL season, recording four points in 32 games with the club. Before joining Oakville, Lukezic played his minor midget season with the GTHL’s Vaughn Kings and spent his midget season with the NAHL’s Port Huron Fighting Falcons. After a stint with the Blades, Lukezic would find himself playing major junior hockey, first with the QMJHL’s Moncton Wildcats and later with the OHL’s Ottawa 67’s.

Lukezic will make his season debut with the Blades on Friday against the Toronto Jr. Canadiens wearing #7. Puck drop is set for 7:30 pm at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex, hope to see you there!
