On Thursday January 28, 2016 at 9:00am, Halton Regional Police responded to a report of a male body lying on the ground outside an apartment building on Queens Ave in the Town of Oakville. Queens Avenue runs perpendicular to Trafalgar Road on the ridge north of Oakville Place in the College Park neighbourhood.

Several schools were put into hold and secure for approximately 30 minutes during the initial investigation. The schools were contacted as a result of their close proximity to the scene, not due to any public safety concerns.

The male was pronounced deceased at the scene and police do not believe it to be a result of foul-play. The male’s identity will not be released.
