Every year Bronte Village kicks off the Christmas season with its annual tree lighting ceremony, and on Saturday, November 26, 2016 Santa arrived filled with good cheer.
This wonderful event brings friends and family together. Local merchants supply delicious treats and warm drinks. Carols are sung. Official speeches are made and then for the finale the tree is lit in Centriller Square (Jones & Lakeshore Road West).
We know that not everyone can attend the event, so this year our trusty photographer, Janet Bedford of Royal LePage was out to capture the smiling faces and beauty of the evening. A short video was created, so that you can also take part in the magic of Christmas that brings community together.
Bronte Village wanted us to also thank the following people and merchants who made the night possible, but one person they left out was Ann Sargeant the executive director of the Bronte Village BIA. Ann works tirelessly and deserves a big THANK YOU! Here is the list:
