Join us on Thursday, June 2nd in southwest Oakville’s beautiful Bronte Village at Bronte Rd. and Lakeshore Rd. West to experience Bronte’s Lake Walk of the series which takes place on the 1st Thursday of every month during the summer. Lake Walk is an initiative driven by a collection of the area’s local arts and culture focussed businesses (Trias Gallery, South Shore Spa, Ti Vesto), and supported by the Bronte BIA. Local merchants invite everyone to come and enjoy an evening of art, live music, dance, interactive activities and great food and drinks from local restaurants at over 35 participating Bronte businesses.
Led by BIA member Indira Roy Choudhury of Trias Gallery, she says “Why call it Lake Walk”? – “It is not about just taking a walk along the Lake. It is about taking a walk around the Village that sits on the shore of our amazing Lake Ontario! – It includes Ontario Street, Bronte Rd., Lakeshore Rd. West and all the lovely street between with its high quality businesses and welcoming owners who have chosen to make Bronte Village home. We want to showcase this beautiful lakeside community.”
For the June 2nd Walk, Indira invites all to visit Trias for a gallery reception to celebrate the Opening Night for the Douglas Edwards Exhibition from 6-8pm. His beautiful landscapes, so rich in colour and texture, delight and inspire
