Summer is moving along, and all the children are off on summer break. Canada Day 2016 is here, and Bronte will be the place to be to enjoy amazing entertainment and a spectacular fireworks show. Parking in Bronte for Canada Day is always tight, so there is a shuttle leaving at regular intervals from the RioCan Centre off Wyecroft, just east of Burloak. You can also hop on your bike to enjoy the day.

The rest of the weekend is also filled with lots to do in Oakville, whether it is catching the latest film at Film.ca, a bike ride along the trails of Glen Abbey, or a swim in the huge outdoor pool at Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Don’t forget Downtown Oakville is designated as a tourist destination, so shops, restaurants and cafes will also be open.

So to make sure that you can enjoy all that Oakville has to offer, OakvilleNews.Org has created the most comprehensive list of local events for this weekend. However, we aren’t perfect, so if you know of something we’ve missed, please let us know, so that other people can enjoy them as well.
