The Civic Long Weekend is here and Oakville has declared August 3, 2015 Emancipation Day.   So in celebration Cycle Oakville will be doing a bike tour of Oakville locations that were part of the Underground Railroad. The tour will end at Lakeside Park where the Annual Emancipation Picnic will take place.

Downtown Oakville and Bronte are designated as a tourist destinations, so stores and restaurants are able to open on Monday August 3, 2015.
