On June 10th, artists will compete live in an evening of high-speed, intense competitive painting for a chance at becoming the Art Battle Oakville Champion. This is the final round of Art Battle events right here in Oakville and only one to go before the national championship. We are excited to have many new talented artists gathered together in the heart of Oakville at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, 2302 Bridge Road, Oakville.
“Art is alive and well in communities across Canada,” explains Chris Pemberton, co-founder of Art Battle Canada. “Communities across Canada have welcomed the concept of competitive live painting with open arms and are as much a part of the event as the artists.”
All ages are welcome to join in this unique communal experience! Mingle among easels and observe creative skill, immense talent and extreme focus at work. On Wednesday, June 10th in Oakville, ON. Doors will open at 7pm and battle begins at 7:30pm.
About Art Battle Canada
Art Battle Canada has been promoting Canadian artists through live painting
competitions since 2009. Created in Toronto by Simon Plashkes and Chris
Pemberton, Art Battle has grown to more than 30 communities across Canada.
Painters create the best work they can across three rounds of public painting.
The audience votes for the winners of each round, and the single winner of
each event. A National Championship is held at the end of each season, with
competitors representing cities across Canada.
