Eleven candidates are running in the upcoming Ward 2 By-election on Monday, April 11. The nomination period officially ended at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 26. The Town Clerk certified papers for the following candidates:

  1. Shiba Anjum
  2. Ray Chisholm
  3. Fraser Damoff
  4. Hart Jansson
  5. Chris Kowalchuk
  6. Ruth Anne McAuley
  7. Cheryle McCullagh
  8. Julie McLeod
  9. Sean Neville
  10. John Pilcher
  11. Dirk Soeterik

Eligible voters unable to vote on April 11 are encouraged to cast their ballot at one of the advance voting opportunities:

Wednesday, March 30, 2016 – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  1. Sir John Colborne Seniors Centre, 1565 Old Lakeshore Road West
  2. Oakville Seniors Recreation Centre, 263 Kerr Street

Saturday, April 2, 2016 – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
