Weather: Rain Warning

When it rains  it pours as Environment Canada has issued a rain warning, which translates into 25 to 50 mm of rain. With the ground still frozen solid along with the creeks and streams there is no place for it to go, so low lying ground will flood. Oakville will be hit hard as the wind from the East gaining speed steadily to 30 km/h with gusts up to 50 km/h gathers additional moisture from Lake Ontario. The rain is expected to start falling late morning/ early afternoon, and will continue right through Friday. Temperatures will continue to hover just above the freezing mark. So you’ll see the sun this morning starting at sunrise (7:09 AM), but it will not be visible at sunset (5:55 PM).  Have a safe day.
