Weather: Windchill Warming

The sun will be out from sunrise at 7:39 AM to sunset at 5:24 PM,  warming us up from this morning’s minus 18 to minus 14 by this afternoon. The windchill warming will stay in effect for the entire day, since it will feel like minus 29 as you step out the door to minus 30 when you turn out your lights this evening. The prospect of snow is 10 to 20 percent. The wind continues to blow at 30 km/h with gusts reaching 50 km/h. Yesterday was particularly bad for accidents, so please leave lots of room between you and the other cars around you. The last thing you want to be doing is waiting two hours for a tow truck in this cold.
