ArtHouse in partnership with the Bronte Historical Society presents ArtHouse Shakes the Bard on the Bluffs

A new ArtHouse One Week Full-Day Summer Camp was launched this week, thanks to Sponsor Sovereign Wealth Management and the Oakville Public Library. Under the leadership of Sheridan Professor Emeritus and long-time Shakespeare guru Ron Cameron-Lewis, and Dora Award Winner and Choreographer Nicola Pantin, Shakespeare is being introduced to 25 Children aged 10-12 years of age in an “easy to grasp” manner with choreography, rap music, cool costumes and pillow fights.

The public is invited to join the children on Sunday the 17th when the Finale Performance will be performed with all of the excitement of an outdoor festival. Also joining the afternoon’s young talent is Oakville Resident, RCM Scholarship Student and Violinist Leslie Ashworth.

“It’s a Fundraising Event by Donation to support the wonderful work of the Bronte Historical Society,” says BHS Board Member Kathy McAlpine Sims. “And it’s a thrill for us to have this opportunity to work with ArtHouse as it continues to provide wonderful cost-free Arts Programs for children in Halton.”

No Tickets required – the Bard hopes you can attend.
