On Saturday May 23rd, 2015 Halton Regional Police in partnership with the Halton Partners for Car Seat Safety will be holding a spot check car seat clinic at a predetermined location in Oakville.

The goal is to reach those individuals who may not voluntarily attend a regular car seat clinic and/or may not be aware that their car seat or booster seat is not properly installed.

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation revealed that 90% of child safety seats are not properly installed. Studies have shown that by using a child safety seat properly the chance of a child being killed or injured in a collision can be reduced by 75%.

Safety is our highest priority-the best child safety seat is the one that fits your child, fits your vehicle and the one that you use every time your child is in the car.
