1. Cornwall Road Pipeline Relocation and Licensing Agreement Trans-Northern Pipelines Inc. 1-38
  –           Report from Engineering and Construction Department, May 29, 2017  

 

Recommendation:
1. That the Cornwall Road Pipeline Relocation and Licensing Agreement, as detailed in the staff report from the Engineering and Construction Department dated May 29, 2017, be received;

 

2. That the Cornwall Road Pipeline Relocation and Licensing Agreement (Appendix A) between the Town and Trans-Northern Pipelines Inc., be approved; and

 

3. That the Chief Administrative Officer and Clerk be authorized to execute the agreement in accordance with By-law 2013-057.

 

 

2. Coronation Park Drainage Improvements Class Environmental Assessment Study Report 39-46
  –           Report from Engineering and Construction Department, May 23, 2017  

 

Recommendation:
1. That the Coronation Park Drainage Improvements Class Environmental Assessment Study Report and the preferred alternatives identified for drainage improvements within the Coronation Park community area, as outlined in the staff report from the Department of Engineering and Construction dated May 23, 2017, be approved.

 

2. That a Notice of Completion, pursuant to the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process, be issued to initiate a thirty (30) day period for public review.

 

 

3. Regional Road Maintenance Agreement Update 47-68
  –           Report from Roads and Works Operations Department, May 29, 2017  

 

Recommendation:
1. That a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the Road Maintenance Agreement with Halton Region, for Regional roads within the Town of Oakville, as outlined in the report from the Department of Roads & Works Operations, dated May 29, 2017, subject to the satisfaction of the Town Solicitor and the concurrence of the Region of Halton be executed in accordance with By-law 2013-057.

 

2. That authority is delegated to the Chief Administrative Officer to amend the Road Maintenance Agreement between the Town of Oakville and the Region of Halton, as outlined in the report from the Department of Roads & Works Operations, dated May 29, 2017, subject to the satisfaction of the Town Solicitor.

Recommendation:
That the report on the Environmental Strategic Plan (ESP) – 2016 Implementation Update from the Environmental Policy Department, dated May 29, 2017, be received.

 

 

5. Taplow Creek Reaches 24 and 25 Valley Wall Erosion Rehabilitation Environmental Study Report 83-96
  –           Report from Development Engineering Department,
May 29, 2017
 

 

Recommendation:
1. That the Environmental Study Report project file and the preferred planning solution for the stabilization and rehabilitation of Taplow Creek Reaches 24 and 25 (Pilgrims Way to North Service Road) as outlined in the staff report from the Department of Development Engineering dated May 29, 2017, be received; and

 

2. That the Notice of Completion for the Taplow Creek Reaches 24 and 25 environmental study project file be published commencing the mandatory 30-day public review period in September 2017.

 

 

6. Flashing 40km/h Zone Sign Program 97-118
  –           Report from Engineering and Construction Department, May 29, 2017  

 

Recommendation:
1. That Flashing 40km/h Zone Sign Program, as detailed in the staff report from the Engineering and Construction Department dated May 29, 2017, be received.

 

2. That the costs ($156,000) for the Flashing 40 km/h Zone Sign Program be referred to the 2018 Budget Committee for a planned implementation in 2018.

 

 

 

7. Inglehart Street North Remediation Project 119-124
  –           Report from Environmental Policy Department,
May 29, 2017
 

 

Recommendation:
1. That the Inglehart Street North Remediation Project managed by the Environmental Policy and the Engineering & Construction Departments be authorized to proceed; and

 

2. That funding for the proposed project in the amount of $965,000 be allocated from the Environmental Initiatives Reserve.

 

 

8. 262 King Street – Severance Application and Municipal Tree Removal Request 125-136
  –           Report from Development Engineering Department,
May 29, 2017
 

 

Recommendation:
1. That the report from Development Engineering dated May 29, 2017, on the matter of the Severance and Lot Addition Application for 262 King Street, be received; and

 

2. That direction be provided regarding the request to remove a municipal street tree as set out in a letter and additional supporting documents, Appendix A, B and C attached to the report dated May 29, 2017 from the Development Engineering department from Weir Foulds LLP, representatives of the owners of 262 King Street.
