Sheridan College

Hours: Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Furniture acts as a mute and durable servant, mediating between the body and the environment, as intimate as clothing and as public as a building. It confirms to the variations of human need as it supports our bodies and our activities, while giving scale to the world around us. This exhibition, by students in all three years of the Furniture Studio of Sheridan’s Crafts and Design Program, seeks to investigate this relationship between body, space and need, as students respond in their own unique manner to the specific constraints of each course project.
