The Halton District School Board will be hosting an evening information session to assist parents with the transition process for Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten students with special needs. Both meetings begin at 7 p.m.:

 

Monday, March 2, 2015 – Palermo Public School, 2561 Valleyridge Dr., Oakville

Topics for this information session will include:

 

  • Registration and preparing for the first day of school
  • Planning for students with special needs and an opportunity to chat with staff of the Student Services Department
  • Support from Community Care Access Centre (CCAC)
  • The role of the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC)
