On Monday, April 13, 2015, the Halton Catholic District School Board will host a Community Consultation Meeting to gather input from parents on the Oakville Catholic Secondary School Boundary Review.

The boundary review process began in February, 2015, with the establishment of a School Boundary Review Advisory Committee to review the attendance areas for Holy Trinity, St. Ignatius of Loyola and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary Schools in Oakville. The boundary review was initiated to address the growing accommodation needs at the three Catholic Secondary Schools in Oakville. The Advisory Committee held its first meeting on March 4, 2015, where members reviewed the four feasible options for secondary school attendance boundary areas that have been developed by Board staff.

The Community Consultation Meeting will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School, located at 1550 Nottinghill Gate, Oakville. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. so that parents may register, review the four options to be presented and speak with members of the Advisory Committee prior to the start of the meeting. In order to make appropriate arrangements to accommodate all those interested in attending, parents are asked to pre-register for the meeting at: www.hcdsb.org.

In addition, parents who are unable to attend the consultation meeting will be provided with the opportunity to submit their feedback and input online through the Board’s website, following the April 13th meeting.
