Thanksgiving Weekend is a time of family and friends. It is also a time for country fellowship.  Rockton World’s Fair is the best place to experience this warm, country atmosphere.

Here at the fair, we have so many things for people of all ages to see and be involved in. We have everything from speech contests to pie-eating contests; we have talent shows to showcase your abilities to an audience. At the Rockton World’s Fair we also have a lot of livestock and some beautiful heavy-horse shows. There are so many buildings to walk through and see all the wonderful entries that people have put on display, both in the Homecraft sections with jams, baked goods and knitting, and in the Livestock section with goats, sheep and cows.

Grab a blanket and head out to the demolition derbies on Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night.  They are pretty awesome!  Head out to the fair and make a point of stopping by the midway and trying out the fun rides and games.  There are also some educational aspects to the Rockton World’s Fair.  The Ag-Alive tent is really interesting and allows visitors to get hands-on experience in the world of farming and agriculture.  There are lots of fun activities and animals there for you.

The Rockton World’s Fair is a great place to visit on Thanksgiving Weekend. Plan your family dinner around it, and make a point to see all the shows and excitement here in the village of Rockton. We hope to see you there.  For complete schedule of what is happening at the 161st Rockton World’s Fair, see Plan Your Visit.
