RCOW Background The Rotary Club of Oakville West (RCOW) received its charter from Rotary International in August 1985. Since that time RCOW has prospered and grown. Despite its relatively short life, RCOW has showcased itself as being one of the most active and progressive clubs in District 7080. For example: RCOW at one time received recognition from the district governor as being in the top 10% of Rotary clubs in Canada. And although it has a relatively small membership, the club has spearheaded important projects both locally and internationally. The China limbs project, the Oakville Awards for Business Excellence and the Water for Humanity project are examples of the programs that RCOW has developed. The Rotary Club of Oakville West is a key player in the development and implementation of the Centennial, Water for Humanity project.
