“Levinson has used his camera as cameras often want to be used: as creators of dreamscapes, as traps for fugitive weathers and atmospheres we can hardly see, but only sense.”
— John Bentley Mays, National Post

Photographer Steve Levinson is a photographic purist, and his work can be found in over 200 private and corporate collections worldwide. Aside from adjusting the natural color saturation and contrast of his images, his photographs are just as they were captured; the images have not been achieved through digital alterations. His photographs are spontaneous, candid, and painting-like, and have been called “atmospheric, romantic, and abstract.”

Steve Levinson’s upcoming show, a retrospective of some of his most popular works from the last 15 years, will be held at the Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre in Oakville from February 26th to March 28th, and should not be missed.

Opening Reception: Feb 28 from 2-5pm
