Please join us for the launch of Oakville Festivals of Film and Art, and the Canadian Festival Premiere of the hit Swedish blockbuster The 100 Year Old Man Who Jumped Out of the Window and Disappeared, based on the international best-selling novel by Jonas Jonasson and published in more than 35 countries with over 5 million copies sold worldwide. The unlikely story of a 100-year-old man who decides it’s never too late to start over. The Forrest Gump of Swedish films. The Canadian Festival Screening of the film will be at the ENCORE cinema in Oakville. The screening will be hosted by two-time Emmy award-winning Oakville filmmaker, Paul Saltzman.

The screening is set for Saturday, 21 June, at 8:30 pm at ENCORE cinema Oakville at Speers and Kerr Roads. ( Tickets are $15 and can be bought directly on the Encore site:

We are also having an exclusive wine and cheese event before the screening at 7:30, with limited, reserved seating available. The film will be introduced by Emmy Award winning Oakville filmmaker Paul Saltzman. If you want tickets for this, please contact me by replying to this email or call me at 905 302 9017. I can arrange for group pricing for groups of 10 or more. I will reserve them for you and get them out to you asap, or have them at the theatre box office for you. They are $30 (tax extra) and include special reserved seating in the theatre for the film at 8:30 pm. A donation will be made to OFFA preferred charity, The Women’s Centre of Halton.
