The first screening is the OFFA Festival Premiere of the feature-length documentary, To Be Takei, the amazing story of a modern hero, American actor George Takei, who played the iconic role of Hikaru Sulu on the original Star Trek series. The actor turned activist has tackled racism and homophobia all his life in a constant challenge to the status quo.

A Dress Rehearsal for an Execution reveals both accurate depictions of history, and also the darkest moments of war and revolution. The importance of image, and its indelible imprint on our cultural, social, and political psyches, is the basis for this exceptional film.

Films intended for a mature audience. Some scenes or language may offend some viewers.
