On Monday January 27th, 2014 at approximately 11:00 am, the victim was working at the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre at 1051 Glenashton Drive in the Town of Oakville.The victim was working in close proximity to his unlocked work van.

A female suspect was observed on security footage entering the vehicle and then proceeded to drive away, exiting the community centre parking lot via a rear driveway.

An active Global Positioning System (GPS) inside the stolen vehicle indicated the van was parked in the Cineplex Theatre complex on Winston Park Drive.

Halton Regional Police plain clothes officers attended the immediate area, located the stolen vehicle and set up to monitor any activity.

The female suspect was subsequently located in a nearby restaurant and arrested without incident.

Rebecca Cunningham (46 years) of Oakville is charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
