On Thursday, April 28th, 2016, Halton Police arrested a 24 year old male suspect for Multiple Thefts from Vehicles in Oakville. Officers and Detectives from 2 District were set up in the area of Sixth Line and McCraney Street in College Park by White Oaks Secondary School, after they identified the suspect from a pattern of recent thefts.

At 12:45 am early this morning, a suspicious male was followed and observed. He repeatedly approached residences and vehicles looking for unlocked vehicles. Once he found an unlocked vehicle he entered it, went through it, and took whatever he could find. K9 PSD Parker was used to help track the suspect and officers arrested him without incident. Stolen property was recovered at the time of the arrest.

Charged in this case is David Policelli who is a 24-years-old male from Oakville, Ontario. He has been charged with 5 counts of trespassing at night and 3 counts of theft under $5000.00.

Halton Police remind all of our residents to remove their valuables from sight and lock their vehicles overnight; lock it or lose it. If anyone sees anything suspicious or crimes in progress, please call 911 immediately.

    My Serengeti sunglasses and case were stolen from my car last fall. 2065 Sixth Line. Unfortunately, the car was not locked. Is there a chance that items have been recovered after the arrest of the thief?
