In the early morning hours of Friday March 13, 2015, an Oakville officer patrolling the area of Dundas Street and Harman Gate in the Town of Oakville observed a Halton Taxi vehicle travelling eastbound, weaving in and out of the lane and travelling at varying speeds.

A traffic stop was conducted at 2:47am. Subsequent to the officer’s investigation, the driver was arrested for impaired driving. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Accused:

Mohammed AKMAL, 50 years old, from Oakville has been charged with impaired driving and driving with more than 80mgs. AKMAL is due in court on April 14, 2015.
