An Oakville police officer received minor injuries following a collision.

It took place earlier in the day on August 12 at the intersection of Rebecca Street and Third Line by the South Oakville Centre.

The officer had been transported to Oakville Trafalgar Hospital by ambulance. He was treated and then released.

The other driver was also treated for minor injuries and released.

A 39 year old Hamilton man has been charged for not turning safely and driving while disqualified.
