Hash Oil Lab in Oakville Apartment

On April 15th 2013, Members of the Halton Regional Police Service Integrated Drug, Gun and Gang Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at 199 Queen Mary Drive Apartment 1108.

Upon entry police located 30 gallons of a chemical precursor used to produce hash oil.  Police also located approximately 41 grams of cannabis resin, cash and a debt list within the apartment.

Police have charged the following persons with the listed offences:

Kevin ROPSON (45 years of age): Possession for the purpose of trafficking to wit: cannabis resin. Produce a controlled substance to wit: cannabis resin. Possession of a controlled substance to wit: cannabis resin. Ropson has been released on a Promise to Appear. Ropson will appear in Milton Court on May 14th 2013.

Brian GAVIN (45 years of age):  Possession for the purpose of trafficking to wit: cannabis resin. Produce a controlled substance to wit: cannabis resin. Breach of Recognizance. Brian Gavin was held for a bail hearing. Gavin will appear in Milton Court on April 16th 2013.

Police have removed and seized the chemical precursors from the apartment as evidence and to ensure the safety all of occupants at 199 Queen Mary Drive, Oakville.
