Hate-Motivated Vandalism in Kerr Village: Police Request Assistance

The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating an act of hate-motivated vandalism that occurred in the Town of Oakville. On May 24, 2013 at 1030pm a female culprit spray-painted anti-Islamic slogans on the side of two commercial buildings in the area of Kerr Street and Stewart Street.

The female responsible for this crime is white, approximately 40 years of age with light curly short hair, and was wearing black glasses, a white coat and black pants.

Police continue to investigate this incident and are asking members of the community who may have information relating to this crime to contact the on duty Staff Sergeant at #2 District in Oakville at 905 878 5511 Ext 2210 or Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222-TIPS (8477), through the web at www.haltoncrimestoppers.com or by texting ‘Tip201’ with your message to 274637(crimes).
