The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a series of thefts from motor vehicles in the Town of Oakville by Sheridan College on Trafalgar Road.

During the early morning hours of Monday, March 27th 2017, unknown suspects broke into multiple vehicles in a north Oakville neighbourhood. The areas targeted were apartment building parking lots located at 350 Lynnwood Drive and 1260 Marlborough Court, which are located just south of Sheridan College. Suspects smashed side windows of locked vehicles and stole loose change, sunglasses and other valuables. A total of twelve vehicles were reported damaged.

Police are reviewing all available surveillance footage from the areas in an attempt to identify the individuals responsible for these thefts.

Area residents are reminded to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police as soon as possible. Residents are also reminded to remove items of value from their vehicles and utilize any existing audible alarm systems during the overnight hours.
