Knifepoint Robbery in Oakville by Sheridan College

On Monday, August 29, 2016 at approximately 4:00 AM, Halton Regional Police responded to a parking lot located off Marlborough Court and Trafalgar Road in Oakville by Sheridan College for a report of a robbery.

A 49 year old Toronto resident reported to police that he had been robbed at knifepoint in his vehicle after driving an unknown male to Marlborough Court from the Toronto. Once they arrived in Oakville the male suspect produced a knife and demanded his cash and wallet. The victim complied and was not injured during the incident. The suspect then fled on foot, and was last seen running along a path that leads through a plaza into Marlborough Court.

The suspect is described as being a black male, light skin, 25 to 30 years, approximately 5’11” with a medium build. He was wearing a white shirt, black pants and running shoes.

Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident given the circumstances involved.
