At approx. 9:20pm on 14th September 2014 Halton Police responded to the Best Buy electronic store in Oakville in response to multiple alarms at the premise.

Upon arrival officers discovered that a break in had occurred. Investigation is still on going by the Oakville Criminal Investigations Bureau; however at this time it is known that a large quantity of electronic goods were stolen. Video surveillance at the scene has shown that multiple suspects and vehicles were involved.

Halton Police are aware of a similar entry later this evening in Etobicoke and will be exploring the possibility of the two entries being connected.

Halton Police are asking that anyone with information that may assist in this investigation please contact the Halton Regional Police Service, Oakville CIB office or Crime stoppers.

Additional information may be forthcoming at a later date from the investigators involved.
