The Halton Regional Police Human Trafficking and Vice Unit have charged a man with human trafficking offences involving a girl under the age of 18.

On, Tuesday, March 2, 2015, members of the Halton Regional Police Criminal Investigations Bureau were investigating a missing person report, when they located the child and her alleged pimp at a hotel in Mississauga. Police rescued the child and arrested Shaquille ROBICHARD (20 years) of Pickering at the hotel.

Shaquille ROBICHARD was charged with Trafficking in a Person Under 18 years, Receive Material Benefit Under 18 years, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marihuana), and two counts of Breach Recognizance. Shaquille ROBICHARD has been held into custody and was remanded to a Bail Hearing at Milton Court on March 4, 2015, at 9:30 am.
