​In the early hours of Tuesday, February 7, 2017, Halton Police responded to a report of an impaired driver in the area of Sherwood Heights Drive in the Town of Oakville.

Officers located the vehicle and driver and arrested a male party at the scene for Impaired Driving Subsequent investigation resulted in the seizure of a handgun and ammunition from the motor vehicle.

The driver was charged with multiple offences in relation to this incident.

Parker MACLEOD, 37 years of Mississauga faces the following charges:

  1. Impaired Driving
  2. Assault Police
  3. Utter Death Threats (5 counts)
  4. Mischief to Property
  5. Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  6. Possession of Restricted Firearm / Ammunition
  7. Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm

MACLEOD was held in custody pending a bail hearing at Milton Court.
