On November 11, 2015 at 9:30am, two men entered the Oakville and Milton Humane Society located at 445 Cornwall Rd in the Town of Oakville.

As one man tended to picking up his pet, the other male proceeded to steal the Oakville Milton Humane Society  donation box that was on the counter. The accused concealed the small plastic donation box inside his coat and walked out of the building. Approximately $30.00 was in the box to go towards caring for the animals.

Justin Denton, 40 years from Oakville has been charged with:

  1. Theft Under $5000
  2. Fail to Comply with Probation Order

As the busy holiday season is upon us, Halton Police would like to take this opportunity to remind the public to pay attention to their surroundings and be alert to opportunistic thieves.
