Denninger’s Foods of the Worlds hosted their 61st anniversary Meat ‘n Greet at the newly opened Denninger’s Bronte store located at, 2400 Lakeshore Rd. W, Oakville in the heart of Bronte Village.
The store was alive with well wishers and shoppers sampling the many delicacies offered. It was fun to sit on the large street patio and enjoy either one of Denninger’s famous Sausages from the outdoor grill or a giant beef hamburger.

According to their web-site, “Denninger’s was established in 1954 by Rudolf and Frieda Denninger, food merchants from the Black Forest region of Germany who immigrated to Canada with their four children. Vince Flaherty of Artisan Farms was on hand to give customers a sample of the mouth watering beef available every day at Denningers. Also attending the gala opening event in Bronte Village was Mrs. Murray, daughter of Rudolf Denninger and Hermin Deninnger, the original owners of the popular chain. Present owners Andrew Laurat, Martin Frank and other family members greeted people with the hospitality that is customary when paying a visit the Denninger’s Food Markets!
Sunni Genesco of K-Lite FM was broadcasting live from the Bronte store from 9 am to 1 pm, and festivities were running all day, including King Brewery sampling their line of Craft beers paired with the Denninger beer Sausage using King Brewer’s award-winning dark lager, grilled on the outdoor patio.
