The Oakville Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Rotary Club of Oakville West (RCOW) is hosting a reception on Feb. 4, 2014 for all the nominees to recognize their contribution to Oakville’s business community.  “This reception provides us with the opportunity to thank all the nominees for their hard work, dedication and sacrifice and for their contribution to a healthy and sustainable economy in Oakville,” says Orla Johnston, chair of the Oakville Chamber.

“Funds raised through sponsorship and ticket sales of this annual event are donated directly to our Rotary Club,” says Susan Sheppard, Rotary president.   “The generosity of OABE supporters makes a very significant difference to the quality and sustainability of important local youth programs.  This gala event has raised more than $500,000 and for this we are grateful and thank everyone for their support.”

RBC is proud to be supporting the awards as this year’s platinum partner. The OABE is a partnership between the Oakville Chamber of Commerce and RCOW to build awareness of business excellence within our great community and at the same time raise funds to support RCOW youth programs in Oakville.
