Let me get my metric converter out first. Who seriously can relate to how many centimetres someone is… why not just give that part up. It’s not something most anyone has even adapted to, including cops that always convert backwards anyway.

    • Joseph says:

Polinah was 5’3.100lbs. the other Abigail was 5’2, 110lbs.

Short Skinny teenage girls. What else you need.

    • Anna says:

Ben-I thought so too. If I spotted them, I would not think, hmmm, 160, 45 kgs?
God I hope they are okay.

      • Anon says:

Actually what Joseph said is false.more like the opposite:’) I know these two girls well and Polinah is about 5″1 and Abi is 5″5 ABI is the one whos more skinny then Polinah.

  2. Ben says:

Feet and inches please. Be realistic to your readers. Even cops need to get their notebook out to convert height and weight.

  3. Brenda says:

So sad, what school did these girls attend? Where were they last seen?? I have boys of their age and it may help to know more information. I will re-post this message to my FB to get it out there!! I hope they’re safe!!

  4. Tim Duffey says:

So, um, a meter is about 3 feet, or 36 inches, and then, um, 6/10 of three feet, which is 60% of 36 inches is an additional 21 inches almost, so, um, in total that’s about 57 inches tall, which is um, 57/12 to convert to feet, and left over inches, so, um, that’s about 4 feet 9 inches tall.

Jeepers. Just say what you mean so we can try to find them !!
No one measures height in cm.
    No one.

    • mf says:

No one, except everyone other than Americans and poorly educated Canadians. We (Canadians) are taught cms and kilograms in elementary school. Stop watching tv and study.

  5. Denis says:

Ok…. they were seen at Union Station… did they come from a train? Or did they take a train to somewhere? That could be the moot point in all this. If they took a train somewhere.. match the time/date and see where. If not… well I personally hope for the best.

  6. Sara says:

I think the lack of detail is because these two took off from a group home which is a very common practice among teens who have been condemned to these horrible places. Usually if it is parents looking for their children and teens the story is very clear in stating that and the details are not so vague like they are here.

    • Edith says:

What makes you think that? I’m pretty convinced these are just two regular teenage girls. One is a dancer I believe.

  7. Anon says:

Brenda, I know Abi went to Abbey Lane PS, I went to the same school as her a few years ago:)

  8. dylan says:

They went to holy trinity grade 9

    • Anon says:

No they didn’t:’) They both go to abbey park hs but I think Polinah got expelled

  9. Angie says:

Polinah lives on my street and I know her family… I hope they find her.

  10. Joe says:

Mom said they can’t borrow the Benz so they ran away from home.

  11. Tech says:

You lazy people that complain about the metric values…if you don’t know the basic conversion then use your damn phones and google it…if you can spend time commenting and complaining then you could have used that time to find out the answer.

  12. Kristen says:

I danced with Abi and I’m very close with her and her family she is a normal grade 9 girl who we need to find , please just help us get her home safe, no family should have to go through this please do anything you can to help imagine it being your kids what would you do

  13. real says:

they have ran away in the past? are they mentally unstable? why would we care to locate them if all they are going to do is run away again.. spoiled brats? blamed the parents?

  14. Dsv says:

Everybody in the world measures in centimetres, and kilograms, dummies!! All except YANKS, BRITS, and their FEW supporters, who are apparently some dumb CANUCKS. The needs of the many FAR outweigh the needs of the few. I am especially looking at your post “Tim Dummy”.

    • rob says:

who cares, what conversion its written in, only dummy’s cant do the conversions back and forth between kg = 2.2 lbs . 1 inch = 2.54 cm. Now can you follow along and pay attention to the topic.

  15. rob says:

I feel for the parents but like common, clearly media’s / over baring parents making this out to be some frantic thing when the girls are casually walking around the sub way. 14/15 girls, there out at some party with some boys they’ve been crushing on, and will be home when there ready. If they wanted you to know where they were and what they were doing, they would have checked in by now.
