The Halton Regional Police have the following Oakville cases on file for the July 2016 which have not been closed, and the perpetrators have been caught on surveillance video. They are asking for the public’s assistance in helping to close these Oakville cases.

The public is encouraged to report information relating to these cases directly to the Halton Regional Police Duty Sergeant at (905) 825-4777, or anonymously by contacting Halton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Case: Imperial Rug Galleries LTD: 2016-214378 

On July 18, 2016 two males broke into Imperial Rug Gallery at 346 Lakeshore Road East in Oakville. Surveillance video was obtained from the premises. One male was spotted on CCTV the previous night potentially scoping out the business. Police are looking to identify this individual. The man is described as middle eastern, 40 to 50 years old. The crime committed is of break and enter and Theft Over $5,000.

Case: Rona: 2016-047466

Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a commercial break and enter to Rona located at 2311 Royal Windsor Drive in the Town of Oakville.

On Monday, February 15, 2016 at 8:36 p.m., two unknown suspects broke into Rona and stole a number of power tools before fleeing the premises.

Suspect 1 is described as: male, white, wearing white shoes, a black jacket with a red shirt underneath, a black balaclava, and black gloves.

Suspect 2 is described as: male, white, wearing dark pants, black gloves, a black balaclava, black shoes with white soles, and a black or blue winter jacket with possibly a white logo on the back of the jacket in the middle by the neckline. He was carrying a large yellow bag from the company “The Big Yellow Bag” soil company.
