Oakville Hydro announced at 7:01 July 8, 2013 that all of South-East Oakville is with out power. This is due to a Hydro One problem a the Richview Transformer Station.  The Richview Transformer Station is located in Etobicoke on Kelfield Street. At the current time Hydro One is unable to deliver power to most of Mississauga as well as Oakville.

Oakville Hydro is working deligently to restore power from other hydro station. The expected restoration time is 10:00 PM. The Oakville Hospital is working on its back up systems. Please do not call 911 unless you are in an emergency situation, since the Police as well as all Emergency Services are occupied with stranded individuals.
