Thank goodness for long-weekends in the summer. Oakville has a number of events planned for Monday August 4th which is our Civic Holiday long weekend.

Transit service
Oakville Transit is offering its holiday service schedule on Monday, August 4, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Around Oakville there will also be lots to do:

Milton will be hosting the Pirate Festival from August 2nd  to 4th with a wide assortment of family fun activities from live entertainment, shopping to games. For the adults there will be the Captain’s Keg. Admission runs from $9.50 to $14.00.

Burlington’s Royal Botanical Garden features its 2014 Enchanted Garden Weekend, August 2nd to 4th from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This event promises to have something for the whole family.
