Oakville Man Arrested for Sexual Offences

As a result of an investigation conducted by the Halton Regional Police Service – Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit (CASA) – Jared Gould, 19 years old, of Oakville was arrested May 4th, 2017 and charged with:

  • 2 counts of invitation to sexual touching
  • 2 counts of indecent act
  • 2 counts of making sexually explicit material available to persons under 16 years and,
  • 1 count of utter threats.

Gould was a coach with the Minor Oaks Hockey Association for the 2016-17 season. Gould has been associated with Minor Oaks Hockey Association in various capacities since 2014. The victims are males under the age of 16 years with one victim being an associate of Gould’s through the hockey association. The hockey association has been advised and Gould has been suspended of his coaching duties.
