Police identify violent home invasion suspects

Halton Police have released the identities of two suspects aged 18 and 20 involved in a violent home invasion that took place on March 25.

As a result of an investigation into the Oakville home invasion on March 25, 2024, Halton Police have arrested two suspects.

The suspects have been identified, and as a result, five charges have been given to the two suspects:

Bangalee Jabateh (18), of no fixed address, has been charged with the following:

  • Robbery with a Firearm
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000
  • Obstruct Peace Officer

Jaheim Turner (20), of Mississauga, has been charged with the following:

  • Robbery with a Firearm
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000

Both accused have been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is also appealing to the public in an effort to identify a third suspect that was observed fleeing the area.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation, including any security or dash cam video from the area of Bronte Creek Provincial Park between the hours of midnight and 4 a.m., is asked to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
