In 2013, members of the Halton Regional Police Service Integrated Drug Gun and Gang Unit initiated an investigation into cocaine trafficking in the Oakville area.

During the investigation one of the involved persons sold cocaine to an undercover officer and further investigation identified the persons responsible for the distribution of cocaine to the Oakville area.

On June 6th, 2013 investigators from the Halton Police Integrated Drug, Gun & Gang Unit arrested the Oakville trafficker and found her in possession of 86 grams of cocaine.

Halton Police subsequently executed search warrants at residences in Oakville and Toronto with the assistance of the Toronto Police Guns & Gang Unit. Police seized a further 100 oxycodone tablets at the Oakville residence. A Toronto residence was searched and police seized a further 170 grams of cocaine and $20,000 cash. The total street value of the seized cocaine and oxycodone is valued at $18,000.

Charged are:

Miriam PEDWELL 36 years old of Oakville
Trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine)
Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
Possession for the purpose of trafficking (Oxycodone)

Chris CLARK 28 years old of Toronto
Trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine)
Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
Proceeds of crime

Anna PEREZ 26 years old of Toronto
Possession of controlled substance (cocaine)

Pidwell and Perez were released for court at a later date.

The accused, Clark, was held for a bail hearing on June 7th, 2013 in Milton.
