Officers from the Halton Regional Police Service, Oakville Criminal Investigations Bureau today executed a search warrant on an Oakville residence upon completion of the investigation into a knifepoint robbery of Bronte Village convenience store on the 7th June 2013. A male resident was arrested in the home and charged in relation to this incident.

Michael MILLER 26yrs is charged with armed robbery.

Oakville Convenience Store Robbed by Lone Male

On June 7, 2013 shortly after 5:00 a.m., a lone male entered the 7-11 convenience store at 2267 Lakeshore Road West and demanded cash from the sole attendant.

The male was armed with a knife and the attendant complied fully with his demands.

A minimal amount of cash was provided to the suspect who promptly fled on foot.

The attendant was not injured during the encounter.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:

Male, white, 25 yrs, slim build and wearing a light blue thigh-length fleece jacket, a blue toque (with white horizontal stripe) and a bandana over his face.
