Every Friday, Halton Regional Police Offender Management Unit will share information on a wanted person in hopes that the public can assist in locating the individual.

We will share Fugitive Friday information on our website and via social media through our website.

In this edition of Fugitive Friday, the 2 District, Offender Management Unit is searching for Desire MONGELARD, 39 years, of Mississauga, ON.

It is alleged:

  1. In August of 2015, MONGELARD was operating a motor vehicle in the Town of Oakville when he was pulled over by officers.
  2. It was discovered that MONGELARD was a suspended driver.
  3. Police formed grounds that MONGELARD had been consuming alcohol.
  4. MONGELARD was charged with Drive Disqualified and Drive with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He was later released on a Promise to Appear.
  5. MONGELARD has since failed to appear for his court date

The accused’s whereabouts are unknown and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

He is now wanted by Halton Regional Police Service for:

  1. Drive Disqualified
  2. Drive with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood
  3. Fail to Appear in Court

MONGELARD is described as 5’6”, 155 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. MONGELARD is known to frequent the areas of Oakville, Mississauga and Brampton.
