Halton Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who had interactions with a teenaged female on her way home from school.

 On November 7, 2013 at 5:15 p.m., a 13-year-old girl was walking southbound on Fourth Line in the area of Glen Valley Road, Oakville and observed a vehicle parked on the east side of Fourth Line facing in a northerly direction.  As she approached the vehicle a man emerged from the car and engaged her in conversation.  The man offered repeatedly to drive her home and she declined his offers.  The girl proceeded home and last observed the man standing at the corner of Fourth Line and Glen Valley Road.
The man is described as white, 5’8”, 50 years of age, very short salt and pepper hair with a salt and pepper goatee.  He had a muscular build with broad shoulders, large nose and was wearing a black winter coat and black pants.  The man’s vehicle was described as a red or burgundy ‘Smart’ car.
Investigators are uncertain about the intentions of this unknown male and would like to speak with him.
