Following an investigation into the robbery at the Pioneer Gas Station, 2451 Lakeshore Road, Oakville on the 12th April 2016, a male suspect was identified and arrested by members of the Halton Regional Police service on the 13th April 2016.

Michael Miller, 29years, of Oakville has been charged with 1 count of Robbery, wear disguise with intent and breach of recognizance.

Michael Miller was held for a bail hearing.

The Halton Regional Police are currently investigating a robbery that occurred at the Pioneer Gas Station, 2451 Lakeshore Road, Oakville on April 12th 2016 at approximately 3pm. Pioneer Gas Station is located in Bronte Village at the North East corner of Bronte Road and Lakeshore Road West.

A lone male entered the gas station kiosk, walked around the counter and approached the employee while brandishing a knife and demanding cash. The lone male obtained a quantity of cash from the register and fled the scene heading north on Bronte Road.

This is similar to the robbery that happened on the 10 April 2016 at Domino’s Pizza in Bronte.

The suspect was described as being a white male, 6’ tall, thin build, short brown hair and scruffy facial hair growth. The suspect was wearing a dark red long sleeved shirt and jeans and put on a white jacket shortly after leaving the store.

No one was hurt as a result of this incident.
