The town of Oakville has just announced the following children’s programs will be available on December 19, 2012 to help parents get thru the teachers’ strike.

P.A. Day – Frequent Flyers Age 6-12

Looking for something fun to do on your day off school? Join us at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex, and we¿ll be your personal tour guides to fun! The P.A. Day Passport programs offer extended program hours to create flexible drop-off and pick-up times. Drop-off as early at 7:30 a.m. and pick up as late as 6 p.m. all for one low fee. The Frequent Flyers (ages 6-12) will travel off-site to the coolest local sites, while the `Stay at Home Vacationers’ (ages 4-5) will be visited on-site by special guests! All trips or guest visits will not begin until 9 a.m. and will end by 4 p.m. For off-ground details please call 905-845-6601, ext. 3152 or jangus@oakville.ca. Age: 6-12 at the 16 Mile Creek Sport Complex only 24 spots available.

PA Day Art Camp – Red, Yellow and Blue- Senior

Full day P.A. day programs with additional before and after care. Artful days full of creative activities and recreational gym time. A great way to spend your day off school! Before and aftercare is available 7:30 am – 9am and 4pm – 6 pm. Spend a full day with a local artist, drawing and painting in the fine art studio. Using a range of drawing materials plan a masterpiece to paint in the afternoon. Age :10-13 at the QE Park Community & Cultural Centre only 20 spots available.
